About FMVGO

FMVgo is an editorial site about interactive film: FMV games, playable movies, and the crossover between games and the short-drama boom. We publish guides, rankings, news, history and interviews, across every platform, with a particular focus on mobile — the screen this genre is heading to, and the one nobody was covering.

We believe the "playable film" is quietly becoming one of the defining formats of this decade — proven on two continents in 2025, industrialized in China, and about to be transformed again by generative tools. The Canon traces the sixty years that led here; the news desk tracks where it goes next.

Ownership & disclosure

FMVgo is published by ALT Story, which also distributes interactive film titles internationally — including Breakout 13 and Revenge on Gold Diggers. Wherever we cover a title from our own catalogue, the article carries a visible "from our catalogue" tag — on cards, on listings, everywhere. Rankings, third-party guides and reviews, history and news are straight editorial: we cover the genre because we believe in it, and the site is only useful if it is honest.

Sourcing

Numbers in our articles (review counts, sales milestones, concurrency peaks) are checked against primary sources — store APIs, platform data, first-party announcements — at the time of writing, and pillar rankings carry a "last updated" date. If we can't verify a figure, we don't print it. Game imagery is used from official press and store assets, credited to their studios.
